Cooking with Family and the Seasons in Mind
Cooking has been my passion since childhood, inspired by my family and the beauty of seasonal ingredients.
I was raised in a family where the importance of food was naturally taught. From a young age, I was fascinated by cooking, which led me to pursue culinary studies and eventually earn my professional chef’s license.
My mother’s cooking was more than just delicious; she carefully selected seasonal ingredients, paid attention to presentation, and chose the right dishes for each meal. In Japan, there’s a saying that “we eat with our eyes,” meaning that visual appeal plays a huge role in appetite and enjoyment. I experienced firsthand how thoughtful presentation enhances the dining experience.
Our bodies are built from what we eat, so choosing good ingredients and preparing them with care is essential. The values my parents instilled in me are now the foundation of how I care for my own family.
Cooking is my passion — a way to nurture, express love, and celebrate life. For me, cooking is not just a task; it is a way to connect memories, love, and tradition through food.
