In Japanese culture, there is a concept called Mottainai, which teaches us that nothing should be wasted. Every item, from old fabrics to everyday things, has value and a story to tell.
This philosophy inspired me to create Re:Born. While raising my children, I found joy in turning vintage kimono fabrics into handmade accessories. Crafting became a way to blend creativity with family life, giving new purpose to things that might otherwise be forgotten.
Through this blog, I want to share the beauty of Mottainai and inspire you to see the potential in the things around you, in both creative projects and everyday life.
