Nothing extraordinary, just moments worth noticing
I chose this phrase because living abroad has taught me how easily everyday moments can slip by unnoticed.
Life in the United States is familiar now, but it still carries quiet reminders that I am living between cultures.
The way neighbors greet each other in passing.
The sound of my children switching languages without thinking.
None of these moments are dramatic.
They don’t demand attention.
And yet, they gently shape how I see the world.
When everything around me once felt new, I noticed more.
Now, as daily life settles into routine, I try to return to that way of seeing —
to slow down, and to notice again.
I’ve learned that ordinary days are not empty.
They are filled with subtle contrasts, quiet realizations, and small comforts.
Morning light through unfamiliar windows.
A familiar meal cooked far from where I grew up.
A sense of home that doesn’t belong to just one place.
This Life space is where I want to leave notes about those moments.
Not big stories.
Not explanations.
Just simple observations from everyday life lived between cultures.
Nothing extraordinary.
Just moments worth noticing.
